	MegaPhone Installation Problems for Beta Users This applies only to installing over a beta release

	We have discovered a defect in Microsoft's MSI technology which prevents the final release of MegaPhone 2002 to be installed on top of any beta release. If you attempt to install the final release of MegaPhone 2002 when a beta release is already installed, the installer will produce an error and will not finish. It is highly recommended that you uninstall any Beta release of MegaPhone 2002 you may have through the Add/Remove Programs control panel prior to installing the final release. If you have encountered this problem and are unable to install the final release, you can use a utility provided by Microsoft to fix the problem and allow you to install MegaPhone 2002. The utility can be downloaded from: support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;q238413 Follow the instructions on this page to download the correct utility for your operating system (if you are using Windows XP, you should use the utility marked "Windows NT or Windows 2000"). Once you have installed the utility, launch it from the Start Menu, select "MegaPhone" from the list of options, and click the "Remove" button. Once this process is complete, "MegaPhone" will be removed from the list, and you can exit the utility and install MegaPhone 2002.
