ANSI C++ Library Error Message
...and other complaints about missing libraries

Customers have reported that when trying to launch PhonePro 9.0 or MegaPhone 9.0 for the first time they encounter an error message complaining about a missing library. (This Knowledge base article doesn't relate to SpeechLib. See MPCKB-0043 for information if you are missing SpeechLib.)

These messages appear to be caused by corrupted copies of the file "ANSI C++ PPC Lib" which appear on some machines. Our current installer does not replace this file if it finds an existing copy in the Extensions folder.

If you see error messages referring to a bad or missing library, please try deleting this file from your Extensions folder and running the installer a second time. The installer will place a working copy of the file and your application will run.
